Furever Farm RE-Open Day 2022

 

Yes! You read right! It is actually happening; it is back on!

The last Furever Farm Open Day was, believe it or not, three years ago! The planned annual event has sadly been cancelled for the last two years consecutively. We really don't need to go into the reasons, mainly because there was only one. COVID bloody COVID! It managed to play havoc shutting down many an event and business with Furever Farm's prime fundraiser being just one of them.

Well not this year! We are locked and loaded, ready to go and we can promise you that this year will be the best one yet! We have deliberately set out to make up for lost time. The event will be bigger and better, bringing together some huge vegan names and a tonne of fun and enjoyment.

Our open days are multi-faceted. The attendees enjoyment, great food, drink and fun as well as giving people the opportunity to meet the special animals they have come to love via our website and social media outlets. But as well as that is the education. People have the opportunity to learn so much about these types of animals, information that is shielded and hidden by an industry that wants us to view them as emotionless, unthinking, unintelligent and non-sentient beings. This is a huge part of every open day we commit to.

On the day there will be guided tours. Founders, Darren & Hayley, will be available on the microphone for discussion and Q&A. The kids will be catered for (including big kids) with activities and face-painting.

Open days of years gone by have incorporated food and drink. This will, naturally, be a huge part of this year's event, but in the effort to make this bigger and better we have locked in market stalls for your perusal as well! Read below the secured food and market vendors for the day;

As you can see your afternoon is well and truly catered for. The food will be simply amazing! The browsing will be sublime. The gates will be opening at 11am on August 20 and closing at 5pm. In between that time, you are all welcome to join us for a great day of fun. It is a day of celebration for helping animals, as well as a day of reflection for animals in need. We all come together and pledge allegiance to the animal kingdom in a wonderful environment.
