UPCOMING EVENTS!

FUREVER FARM OPEN DAY 2024

It's annual and its marvellous! This year sees more additions and some fantastic inclusions.

We speak of the open day, of course! That day where the sanctuary gates are flung open and everyone is welcomed for a family day of fun, food, festivities, and education! A day where all can experience the delight that is vegan food (even you non-vegans). Ever wondered what we eat? Then come along and taste the culinary delight.

In addition you will find market stalls from many different vegan industry. Something for everyone is our mantra, and we try our hardest to provide.

Entertainment? Well, there is the live music, naturally. But, this year we take that extra step in providing an 'open mic', giving all and sundry the chance to display their musical, comedy, speaking or interviewing skills. "Fergie" the 1950 Massey Ferguson tractor makes his yearly appearance towing the trailer with hay bales specially placed to take the little (and big) kids on laps of the paddock. Speaking of kids, yes, facepainting is back with Pip the Fairy on hand to brighten your day and sensationalise your face! And, this year, we have an extra special debut which is bound to interest and attract the young (18+) and older generations.

Four brilliant tattoo artists from Vintage Scarecrow will set up shop to thrash our many styles of flash tattoos. Been thinking of your first tattoo? This is the perfect place with flash keeping in smaller but maintaining the art!

Then, of course, there is the animals and the tours. Education or stories to inspire. The animals of Furever Farm, current and future, is what each years open day is all about. ALL FOR THE ANIMALS! It is for them that we invite folk to get up close with animals that will bust the stereotype associated with 'farmed stock'. Learn about their true natures, listen to their individual stories (some positive, some that will shock you), and, should they permit, touch and provide love to animals so deserving of affection. The open day will look to raise funds for one beneficiary; the animals that need our constant love and care through may a different situation. To continue to take in the needy we must first survive. That is what this day is about.
